I knew Father's Day would be hard for the kids but what I didn't realize is that it would be hard for me.
First thing this morning my son wanted to call daddy.
But with the time difference we had to wait a few hours.
Once we got a chance to talk it was only for a minute because he was training.
I don't know why but I couldn't get myself out of the funk I was in.
I spent most of the day in my PJ's.
Ate junk food and watched sappy shows.
Now that I have had my time to mope it's time to move on to the next challenge.
I know this was the easy one.
We still have birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

you'll get through it! hang in there.
I'm so sorry you had a rough day. Think of it this way, one holiday without him under your belt. You're one day closer to him coming home. I don't think that will help, but hey you never know.
Were in the same boat, only, we cant call Daddy. I have to wait for him to call us. It sucks, but that is the life we have.
We didn't get to tell him Happy Father's Day until 3 days later... He already missed my kids birthdays a month ago.
Hang in there, we have to be strong for our husbands and kids.
